The SDH Foundation is a nonprofit organization working to improve the lives of those affected by SDH-driven cancers and lead the search for a cure.

Our three core goals are to:

  • Facilitate patient-requested SDH tumor tissue donation for research

  • Fund high-impact SDH-cancer research

  • Provide an educational resource for SDH-deficient cancer patients and their families

Donate tissue

 to support research

Tissue donation is one of the most important things SDH-deficient patients can do to advance research. Excess tumor tissue, obtained at the time of surgery, can be donated. There is no cost to the patient to donate tissue and the decision to donate does not impact your care.

Make a monetary donation to support research

The SDH Foundation supports research to study important topics at the intersection of the laboratory and the Clinic in order to optimize and advance SDH-cancer treatments.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose purpose is to fund active research of SDH-specific cancers which may not otherwise be the focus of research endeavors. Each donation, large or small, helps bring personalized medicine to those battling SDH-deficient cancer, independent of tumor type.
